Dearest blog... and followers
I have not forgotten about you. Just overloaded with projects. Between Christmas parties, crafts for around the house, painting Emery's room, reading a few books, sewing silky blankets for the girls and cooking all the time I just have neglected the family blog. I am sure that I am not the only one that is crazy busy this time of year. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas filled with the true Christmas Spirit and a Happy New Year!!!!!!

Ya-hooo Pop!
While in Texas we had quite the 'rodeo'! My parents and I were trying to get a bull out of one pasture and into the trailer so we could move it to another pasture. Mom and I tried to corner him with the 4-wheelers but that was a no go. Pop saddled up Dan and the 3 of us got the bull in the corral. My parents have always had horses so it wasn't something new for the girls to see Pop ride, but for some reason this time once Pop got on Dan they both said "Ya-hoo Pop! Ya-hooooo"!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not yee-haa or Wahoo but Ya-Hoo!!! I guess that is the combo!
Once the bull was taken care of, Ava and I went for a little ride. She seemed to have really liked it... until my mom drove by on the 4-wheeler. Both of the girls looooovvvveeee ridin' the 4-wheelers.
Thanks for all of the help Mom, Pop and Erricka! I could have never finished the house without all you did for me. I really owe you! Love you all!
ps... the computer has been down and out for a bit so i can't get to the pictures.

Trunk or Treat Princess Style
This year we just went to the Trunk or Treat party at church. The girls dressed up as princesses and I was the Fairly Odd Mother. The girls had a really great time and got WAAAAYYY too much candy. They both loved having make up on and 'farklies' (sparkles) in their hair.
The only picture I got of them together with their dresses on. They walked around the whole night holding hands.

Pure Joy
Today was the primary program at church. It always brings tears to my eyes. The spirit that is felt when innocent children sing is indescribable. Josh got to go to church with us today and that was a real treat. We came home from church, ate lunch and all took naps. I don't know how much of a nap Josh got in those 15 minutes but maybe it was enough for a power boost. The girls and I played this afternoon and read books. We called family and laughed about silly things. I put make-up on the girls as a "practice run" for Halloween. After dinner and baths I dried the girls hair and put them in bed. Then I went and got Ava out of bed. She took a really great nap and wasn't quite ready for bed so we came down stairs. She asked me if I could play with her hair. So I did. She just talked to me and we laughed more. Once I had fixed her hair into something "sleep-able" I carried her up the stairs for bed. When I laid her down she said "Mom, I just love it. I love you". So pure and innocent. What a sweet ending to a wonderful day. I hope I never forget these moments, but mostly I hope she remembers them too. I love you Ava!
