Dadgum....

Pretty sure I went to Target and to 2 houses today.... with my zipper down. At what point did it go down? I try to make a habit of zipping up my paints BEFORE I leave the house but perhaps that didn't get accomplished this morning. Oh well. At least I didn't forget one of my kids somewhere.

This week...

This week has been a big week for Kinlee. She has rolled over from front to back, from back to front (on a different day) and I just noticed that she is teething. I am not happy about this. I mean, I know it isn't her fault, but COME ON! You aren't even 4 months old yet. AHHH. Whatever.
I am also realizing that 3 kids is a big deal. At first, it really wasn't hard. HONESTLY. But as of this week, I am really struggling. There have been lots of changes going on. I haven't had to be on a schedule really since Ava was born and that was over 5 years ago. And that, I guess, is hard for me. Ava is now in school. Preschool. And it is only 4 days a week, but I am obviously having a hard time with that one. Mimi started gymnastics. And loves it. However, she is so sad during the day. She has never known life without Ava so she just pouts all day. I have tried so dadgum hard to involve her in stuff but she usually tells me that I am a big girl and that I can do it by myself. Thanks for the reassurance Mimi. Also Kinlee is about to drive me batty. She cries. She cries A L O T. And that really isn't like her. But I honestly can't help but think about how Ava was so hard. And pray she isn't turning into 'that' kind of baby. Please just let it be her teeth! Also, Josh has his boards on October 18th. THIS is a BIG deal. He is pretty darn stressed out about it, as he should be. I am stressed out for him. And I can not keep up with the laundry. OH MY WORD. Who knew that 1 more little person could add so much to the laundry. Basically, I kind of feel like I am drowning. That I can barely keep my head above water. And I really dont like that feeling. I dont feel like I can control a lot right now and for someone who is a control freak, its a difficult pill to swallow. I mean, honestly? Am I really crying because I can't keep up with the laundry? Whatever, right?
This is in no way a pitty party. I am not writing this down for people to feel sorry for me. I am only writing this because ONE day I will be able to look back at this and laugh. Laugh at myself for being so uptight about such little things. Because this too shall pass.

More California

While we were there, we hit Disney! The girls were thrilled... until they didn't get to see the princesses. LAME. I had to tell them they were too tired and had to go to sleep. What kind of stupid place doesn't have the princesses in the parade? Happiest place on earth... I beg to differ!

Way back when....

I was still pregnant with Kinlee, Josh had a conference in California. So the family packed up for the week and met Josh's parents and sister there. We got to play all day while Josh worked all day. I really wish Josh could have played with us. Perhaps next time!

A little water action

The day after my mom left to go home, we went to the park to get the girls out of the house. Kinlee slept the whole time and the girls had a blast!

Ava's 5th birthday

Poor Ava kind of got the shaft this year for her birthday. With Kinlee just being born, it was still crazy when June hit! My mom was in town for about 2 weeks when I had Kinleeso we had cake and such with her, and a couple of our friends. We called that her 'party' by putting up an orange table cloth and Josh doing balloon animals. She was pretty excited! Good thing she wasn't turning 15, she would have wanted a bit more!!Posted by Picasa

Chief Dad

July 1, 2010 Josh started his year of chief-hood! While he was at work, the girls, Tapa and Yaya, and myself made chief hats. Josh had the most feathers-because he is cheif-rolling in at 16. I had something like 8. And the girls had how old they are; 5, 4, and 1 month. As soon as Josh drove up, the girls ran outside doing an indian chant! Good times! We are so proud of Josh and all that he does for our family! Way to go, dear!

Forth of July

Mike and Marica were here visiting/meeting Kinlee over the 4th. We went to Ft. Gordon to watch the fireworks. It was, as always, a fabulous show! Thanks Tapa and Yaya for being here! We really wish you lived closer... and so do the girls!

Family pictures

Since my whole family was here for Kinlee's blessing, my sisters and I surprised my mom with family pictures for her 60th birthday. When you have 7 adults and 10 children, well lets just say that things get a little crazy! We haven't received the professional ones back yet, these are the ones that my father-in-law took.

Kinlee was blessed

On August 1, 2010 Kinlee was blessed at church by Josh. It was a beautiful blessing and am so grateful that Josh is willing and worthy to hold the Priesthood of God. We had Josh's parents, my parents and both of my sisters with their kiddos here. It was a crazy and fabulous time! Thanks to everyone that came! Ps....our families really were here but we are big dorks and didn't get a picture with everyone. Whoops!

Ava's first day of school

Josh stayed home to have breakfast with Ava before school. She is in a 4 day a week pre-k. Saying she loves it would be an understatement! I love it too! Mimi and I have some great quality time with each other and Kinlee.
