And the slamming of doors.

The Beach

For my birthday, our family and the Anderson's went to Charleston. It was great fun!!!! Thanks for the great memories! There were star fish everywhere!

Ava's First day of Pre-K

Cause we're the best of friends....

Berries and Berries

We have done LOTS-N-LOTS of berry picking. There is a great strawberry farm that is only 20 minutes from us. The best part about this farm is you can eat as many as you want while you pick. They are so yummy! We went a couple of times this Summer. When Ta-pa and Ya-ya were here we made some fantastic strawberry jam. OOOOh is it good!!!!

We have a great friend that grows blue berries. He went out of town for a week and needed me to take care of the cat while he was gone. He said to pick as many berries as I wanted. We took him up on it!!!

4th of July

We went with our friends The Andersons on base to watch some fantastic fireworks. The girls LOVED them. They ooh'd and aahh'd with every firework. We took some snacks to hold everyone over until the show began. Thanks for having us go with you guys, it was awesome!!!

Ava's 4th Birthday

Around 12:30 in the morning on June 15th, the door bell rang and there was a lot of pounding on my door. Josh was on call and I was sound asleep. I went down stairs to find my mom, both of my sisters and ALL of their kiddos standing outside my door. It was freakin' awesome!!! I was still shaking from being awakened from a sound sleep but SO excited to see my family. They drove straight through from Texas! As I opened the door they said "We heard there was a birthday party" and oh the party that it was!

It was an ORANGE party. There were orange plates and orange cups and and orange table cloth and LOTS of orange balloons and orange Orange ORANGE everywhere. Ava was in orange heaven! She asked for a strawberry cake with orange icing, so that's what we had.

Noni and Pop got the girls a Trampoline and boy do they love it!!!!! Ta-pa and Ya-ya sent her a scooter and some great orange jewels. They also send this really great play-dough ice cream maker. They ask to play with it on a daily basis. I have to admit, it is pretty cool! Ava is getting pretty good on the scooter. It was a fantastic orange-y party! Thanks so much for everyone that made it that way!!!!

Ava, Mom and Dad love you so much! You are such a sweet little girl that is getting bigger every day. You are so much fun to be around!!! We love you sweetie!
