Almost there....

I'm 36 weeks. I am not ready to have a baby. At all. We don't have his room finished. Or the crib put up. Or sheets to put on said bed. I have washed some clothes and put them in the dresser. There are still a TON of things on my to-do list. However, Josh is in Chicago this weekend so I am laying low! Not really wanting to push myself into labor. Who wants to have a baby without their husband there? Not this lady!!! I did have a doctors appointment yesterday and I'm at a 1. I have never been dilated this early on. I've never gone into labor on my own either. SOOOO, we will just see what happens. Josh gets home tomorrow at 4:30. Lets just hope this baby stays put until then! 

First day of school

Ava started second grade. Emery started kindergarten and Kinlee just wants to be in the middle of it all!!

YES!!!!! It's finally over! I am 18 weeks and 1 day and can finally say IT. IS. OVER! No more pain (other than regular pregnancy pain)!!! Wahoo! I knew you would all be as excited as I am!

Now I'm off to clean my house. I haven't done so all week because of swim lessons and piano lessons and family being in town. It is a wreck. Wish me luck!

And its a......

BOY!!!!!!!!!! We are all super thrilled!!!!!!!! 

Kinlee got up from her nap. The other girls were asleep down stairs so we snuck into the play room. And snuggled. She laid her crazy-haired-head down on my shoulder and was still. I found myself trying to match her breathing pattern. In. Out. In. Out. Just laying there. So quite. So content. So happy.  After 15 minutes or so she looked up at me, placed her sweet pudgy hand on my face and said "Hi, Mama" Be still my heart!

pregnancy

I wish I were one of those women that LOVED being pregnant. BUT, I'm not. I don't have easy pregnancies. I am sick pretty much throughout the whole darn thing. And then I get to the 13 week *trial* as I call it. It starts at 13 weeks and goes to about 18 weeks. No need for me to go into details here on the WWW. I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about and there are others that don't. And that is just fine with me. But, its painful. Terribly painful. Bring you to tears painful. And it seems like with each pregnancy it gets worse. Well, I'm 14 weeks along and smack dab in the middle of it. And it hurts. I really hope the next four weeks literally fly by.
