Primary Program
We were lucky enough to have both sets of parents here for the girls Primary Program. The girls have the scriptures memorized and said their parts beautifully. Great job girls!!! We are all so proud of you!
Emery's scripture: Second Nephi 32:3:
Angles speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.
Ava's scripture: Joseph Smith History 1:17:
...I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other-This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
Halloween 2011
Miss Pinkalicious herself
I know its been a while. Which a while is really quite the understatment. I KNOW! But I'm going to try and hop back on the blog bandwagon.
Josh took a couple of pictures of the girls at the church while I was helping set up and then the battery died on the camera. We got a couple more from some other ladies at church, but I'll have to get them later.
Pretty sure the book Pinkalicious was written for my little pink girl. Doesn't she look JUST like the book? Happy Happy Halloween!!!

We are finally in!!!
We bought a house and are now moved in. I wouldn't quite say settled, but we are in the house. The girls are loving having all of their stuff, since it was packed away for over a month. I'm loving having our stuff as well. Josh is loving work! Our house is less than 1 mile from the TRE and there is a stop at the Childrens Hospital where he works in Dallas. Its so nice. He texts me when he is hopping on the train and is home 25 minutes later. Ava is about to start Kindergarten and is getting pretty excited about that. Mimi is going to do some kind of preschool/gymnastics (I just haven't found one yet). Kinlee is a little toot! She is still not walking (almost 15 months). If you even offer her the push toys she throws herself down on the floor and throws quite the fit. She is in to EVERYTHING and tries to sneak up the stairs all the time. All in all, she is who is keeping me the busiest! The house we bought needs some work and there are a lot of things I want to do to make it ours. I'll post pictures soon-ish! I'm planning on painting the cabinets black. I'm sure some of you are thinking BLACK? But I've gotten my inspiration from a few places like here and here. Or do a google image search from black kitchen cabinets. There are some really awesome pictures out there. Our kitchen is pretty big but doesn't have very much counter/cabinet space and there are two windows in the kitchen. Our appliances are stainless steal so I think that will make them pop! I'm really excited to get going on this project. I just feel like I need to be able to walk through the garage with out tripping on boxes before I start working on this. I'll be sure to post before and after pictures. But I'll have to find my camera first! Here's to unpacking!!!!

We are still alive
Just a quick update. I HATE moving. And worse than moving is trying to sell a house in a market thats not so hot. With three small kids. One that is just learning that she needs to get into EVERYTHING. Basically, it's stress city over here at the Smith household. I'll update if we sell the house. Or when we get moved and settled.

Flashback
The Hatters

Last year around this time we were able to go to California and see some of Josh's family. Not too long after we came home, Grandpa Hatter (Josh's moms dad) passed away. On April 1, 2011 Grandma Hatter was reunited with Grandpa. They both will be missed much. I am so happy we were able to go and spend some time with them and that my girls where able to meet them. We love you Grandma and Grandpa Hatter!!!
