Poor Dumb Teenage Boys (continued)
Who would have thought that being rear ended would total out a car? I surely didn't. But it did. So the search began for a new car. Heavenly Father was just wanting to bless us because Josh and I found another car within 3 days and guess what... It looks EXACTLY like our old one. Same year. Same color. Same interior. But whats not the same is the mileage... it has 6000 miles LESS! Wahoo. Also, the oil was just changed. Double Wahoo!!! AND the tires are new. Triple WA-HOO!!!! Oh and if all that isn't good enough news, our payments went down. Quadruple WAAA-HOOO!!!!

You want what????
Ava calls ice cream "a$$ cream." I am sorry if this is rude or whatever, but I just can't stop myself from laughing. It is sooo hilarious to me. She always says she wants to go get some A$$ cream. HAhaahaa!! Even typing it, I am laughing. One day she will say it correctly, and I will be sad.
Ava, I am sorry I had to post this... but it is just too good to pass up! Love ya!

Poor dumb teenage boys....
Picture this.... Josh and I in our van driving down the road. Laughing. Talking. Mind I even say reminiscing..... Then BAM! Rear ended. Oh COME ON!!!!!!! You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!! Yeah well that's what happened. We were on our way to dinner and then to the musical Mama Mia. What a LOVELY date night, you say. YEP. Well of course until those poor dumb teenage boys come into the picture. Is that harsh of me to call them dumb? I mean, everyone makes mistakes right?! Just because they are teenagers doesn't mean they are dumb, does it?! YES I say it does.... BECAUSE they did not have their seat belts on.
Here's how it all goes down. Josh and I are sitting at a stoplight. The light has turned green but there is some traffic backed up. Josh waits until he knows that we can make it all the way through the intersection before he goes any further. We go through, and are at a complete stop (because of the stopped traffic) and then get rear ended. The poor dumb teenage boys weren't watching and just ran right into us. The passenger, that didn't have his seat belt on, hits the wind shield with his head. That windshield is pretty much shattered now. Josh and I are fine, other than a minor neck pain. The kid that hits his head bit his lip pretty badly and of course has a head injury so is taken to MCG. The other two dumb teenage boys talk it over with Josh and the police department. I sit in the car and talk with our insurance.
Damages???? Well, it doesn't look all that bad. The back door won't open, the side door won't stay closed and the front passenger side door is a little tricky to open or close. The other car had both air bags deploy and then had some damage to the front bumper... and the windshield.
Right now I am just waiting to hear back from the Insurance company so that we can get a rental car and get the van fixed.
So the questions still pose, what where we reminiscing about and did we make it to the musical? Well, I had just so happen to tell Josh about the last time I went to a musical and how we got lost and were really late and didn't have time for dinner and had to go through the McDonald's Drive Through and eat it in the parking lot of the show. Josh and I didn't have McDonald's, but we did have Dairy Queen and yes we ate it in the Mama Mia parking lot!!! So I guess I have answered the other question... We Made It... and it was FABULOUS!!!! (we still owe each other a night out to a real restaurant... perhaps Bonefish Grill!!!!)
The moral of the story is.... WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT YOU POOR DUMB TEENAGE BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
