8 Whole months

Posted by PicasaThats right. Kinlee is 8 months today. She is adorable as all get out... and looks just JUST like Josh! She is 'learning' to sleep through the night. I say learning loosely. Last night she only screamed from 1245-130. That is a huge accomplishment. I am really hoping that tonight she just goes straight through like a champ. One can dream, yes? Ava and Mimi still absolutely adore her and lucky for me those feelings are mutual! Kinlee isn't the snuggliest baby and I am trying so very hard not to get my feelings hurt about that. But she is the darn cutest thing I have ever seen! Kinlee always has her tongue out. Just like Ava did. I think that she looks a lot like Ava did as a baby but with Mimi's eye and hair color. She also loves to give me kisses or bite my chin. She now has her 2 bottom teeth and can chop down pretty darn well with those babies! Her favorite foods are carrots, sweet potatoes and apples. By themselves or combined. She doesn't seem to to mind squash, bananas or peaches either. Kinlee is not wanting to crawl or pull up on stuff. She is perfectly happy just sitting there.... and truth be known, I like it that way! I am not ready for a mobile baby!
Kinlee, you are such a fabulous addition to our family! We all love you more than you'll ever know!!!

We are all still alive...

We have just had a ton going on. Thanksgiving was great. We stayed here and had some great friends and missionary's over. Dinner was delish! Christmas was fabulous! Went to Texas for almost 2 weeks. AHHHH! So great!
In other news we have put our house on the market here in Georgia. It has only been on for a week. I hope I can keep it clean and not be a terrible parent.
Ava is still in school, although she told me yesterday that she wants to stop going to school and start dance. Not sure what we are going to do about that.
Mimi is still in gymnastic and loving it... however she heard Ava tell me she doesnt want to do school anymore so Mimi jumped on that bandwagon too.
Kinlee has 1.5 teeth and is starting to be okay being on her tummy. For the longest time she would SCREAM every single time we even thought about putting her on her tummy. 6-9 Months is one of my favorite stages. She will be 8 months on the 26th. She is happy for the most part... if you give her exactly what she wants WHEN she wants it. OH and she holds grudges if you dont do that. I hope she grows out of that quickly; otherwise she isn't going to have very many friends!
Josh is doing awesome this year. I can't believe he only has 6 more months to go. Basically, he is the best husband ever and I am very blessed to be sealed to him!
I just started Team Lean with the Family Y. Basically its like the biggest loser but just in our area. It is a 12 week program. My overall goal is to be in the best shape I have been in since high school for my 30th.
Josh and I are doing the weight loss thing together and hoping to run a couple of races in Texas when we move back. My sister wants me to do a 1/2 marathon with her and I am trying to see if I want to do that! Right now, running 13.2 miles doesn't sound too exciting. I dont even really like to run 13.2 minuets. I'm working on that too!
